Starry Forest Books is launching a new event called First Impressions, where authors can submit their picture book and board book manuscripts for a chance to get feedback on a live call. During the session, we'll share feedback on a couple of manuscripts that will be relevant to any artist in attendance, and we'll also have an open Q&A for the audience to ask questions about writing and publishing.

Our first event will take place on April 2 at 7 p.m. ET. RSVP here on our website:

Thanks so much, and we hope to see you and your colleagues at First Impressions.

David Wright

Moderator note:

Please note the disclaimer on the First Impressions form if you submit a document for feedback. It can also be used for future events unless you send an opt out email.

Hi David, thanks very much for your post. We organized the submissions this way so that folks don't have to resubmit their manuscript each time we do an event. But if we find that folks would prefer it the other way around, we can adjust it.

Thanks for checking out the event and have a great day.
