I'm working on a YA historical fiction book and would love to get more feedback. I'd be interested in starting or joining a critique circle -- we could start with a couple of chapters and see if we're a good fit.

Trevor,
Sorry I didn't see this posting. I haven't conditioned myself to check the blueboards for messages. Are you still looking for a group or a partner? I am the regional critique coordinator and collect names and try to connect writers with one another. I will put you on my list as well and can contact you when I hear of other people looking to form a group or find a partner.

Also, you can join us at our regional Zoom meetings (AKA Shop Talks). I know many writers/illustrators that have made critique connections that way. I think there are a few sessions left before summer vacation but we will start up again in August.

Please keep me on the list if someone else is looking as well. I've found some folks, but am always looking for ways to improve my writing!

I'm much more comfortable with an in-person critique group. I had a wonderful group in Lincoln years ago. I would LOVE to find some other writers (of any genre) in southeast Nebraska. I'm in Humboldt. I write MG fiction and contemporary romance. If anyone would want to start a critique group around here, let me know!!

Hello Trevor,
I am looking for a critique partner too. I am writing a children's picture book and need feedback rather sooner so please let me know. Thank you!

Hi Pearl,

Have you reached out to Judith, our regional critique coordinator? She might be able to get you resources or connect you with others who are working on picture book manuscripts.  Here's the link to our Nebraska Critique info page.

Best of luck!
