I was so excited to see this! Look what made the SCBWI Recommended Reading List for October: #Hispanic Heritage Month! My publisher, Perfection Learning and I are very honored to have SCBWI choose my time-travel adventure-biography (yes, there is such a thing! 😉) FIGHT IN THE FIELDS: CESAR CHAVEZ for this list! Travel with Kenneth and Aleesa back to the '60's, meet Cesar Chavez and try to keep him out of danger...recommended by the State of CA Dept. of Ed as a resource for learning about Cesar Chavez....ages 7-14

Yay Tori! Back in the day I had the privilege of interviewing Cesar Chavez. It was one of the highlights of that particular job. I'm looking forward to catching up with your book.
