My narrative nonfiction book received a nice award

The Dog Writers Association of America selected my narrative nonfiction book "Rats in the White House" as best Early Reader (ages 4-8) published between 2020-2022 (two years of books were combined due to COVID) and, even better, it was then awarded "The Dogwise Award" as best book in all categories (juvenile, adult, nonfiction, fiction). This is sort of a bid deal for those of us who write about animals. "Rats in the White House" tells the true story that President Theodore Roosevelt's family arrived at the White house to find it overrun with rodents (fact).  After many attempts to rid the rodents, President Roosevelt gives his son Archie a dog named Skip (fact) and Skip chases away all the rats (almost a fact--he probably killed them). The book was also a nominated for the Theodore Roosevelt Association Children's Book Award in 2021.
