In 2021 I sent a rhyming dinosaur board book ms to a publisher and heard back that they liked it but had several dino board books coming out already. Two years later, I got a letter saying if I added more stanzas they could see my ms as a 32-page picture book! I signed the contract with them and the book will come out in the spring of 2026. They have already suggested another title for me to write. I did this after my agent quit, and I should also mention that I'm 72 years old. So hang in there, writers--miracles happen! :love5
